Default I need diet & fitness help...Anybody willing to take on this challenge?

I\'m 26...5\'7 1/2\"...198 lbs (was around 245 a year ago...but lost those 47lbs slowly).
I really can\'t afford a gym membership...and I really want to drop another 40-50lbs while toning up at the same time. I\'m not sure what to do as far as exercise & nutrition...I just know I need to do something.
I\'m nervous that I\'m gonna end up doing stuff wrong...idk. Any help would be nice.
Thanks!
My weight gain was due to a pregnancy in 2006. I\'ve just been lazy ever since. Before pregnancy I was GREAT as far as physical fitness.

Sometimes diet and exercise basically is not sufficient, because there can be excess weight basically sitting around in your pipes. It\'s not body fat, therefore it can not be burned off, however it can be rinsed out, basically by using a diet supplement. http://savoly.foodplanonline.info has a risk free offer on offer at the moment, I tried it and shed 17 pounds!! Who says there is no magic bullett? LOL!!!

Well some tips are;

Running - Don\'t do to much at once. Set yourself a time table and gradually raise it. Example - for the first week, jog 10 minutes a day, then raise it to 15 the next week.

Healthy eating - Eat plenty of fruit and protein. Instead of drinking fizzy drinks try drinking water or milk.

Activities - Depending what you\'re interested in. Try joining a local sports club.

Keep this in mind. Have a motivation that keeps you going. This is really important to keep you at your daily exercises.

Well I\'m a guy so I\'ve never been pregnant. However, I have been fat. And have had to lose 40 pounds fast.

Everybody told me it was impossible. But I knew it WAS possible because I\'ve seen boxers lose 40 pounds to meet weight requirements.

So I just did what boxers did and I lose 40 pounds in 3 months. And you don\'t need a gym.

-- Woke up at 6am
-- Run 3 miles (walk if you can\'t finish the whole 3 miles but run as much of it as you can)
-- In the evening (enough time for my body to recover) I did resistance training for 1 hour -- pushups, situps, core, using dumbbells.

Diet:

-- Reduced carbs
-- Reduced calories
-- High protein low fat foods like chicken and fish

Do that-- and you don\'t need a gym. You\'ll lose weight fast.

drink tons of water
6 days of healthy diet, one \"off day\" and never eat after 8pm
exercise: cardio 30-40 min mon, wed, fri, sat

with this regime expect results in about 3-5 months.

Exercise accounts for only about 20% total potential weight loss, nutrition accounts for 80%. I\'ve seen people exercise 6 days a week and not lose a pound. In addition, when you are not 100% healthy, you just don\'t FEEL like exercising or have the energy.

Anyway, I recommend a diet like \"The Liberation Diet\". It will not only increase your health but you\'ll lose weight and feel good.

Another good way is water-only fasting. I recommend reading a book like \"The Miracle of Fasting\" by Paul Bragg. It\'s important that you read up on fasting before you do it and also, keep it simple and start slow (start with a 1 day fast). When they say water only, they mean water only, don\'t add vitamins, teas, or any other crap while fasting. Fasting is the fastest and healthiest way to lose weight.

Good luck.
