Default For weight loss, when do I want to up the intensity level on my eleptical work out?

I currently go for 30 minutes on a low level. I could probably go 35 minutes, or I could increase the level and go 20 minutes.

Which is better for weight loss?
I have to do eleptical because I need low impact. Bad feet. On \"bad foot days\" I use the bike instead.

I am currently doing \"interval training\" on the eleptical. That is 2 minutes at level one, and 2 minutes on level 4. I keep that pattern for 25 minutes, then 5 minutes cool down at level one.

But the machine I uses lets you decide if you will do a stair stepping motion or if you will do a large stride, which would burn more calories.

So maybe I will vary between the easier stairstepping and the harder long stride. Alternating for 20 minutes.

Sound good?

I do H.I.I.T on the elliptical. I\'ll go for 20-30 seconds as hard as I can (around 19-23 mph), then I go at a slow pace for 1 1/2 minutes (around 3mph).

This will help for fat loss the best!!

I ONLY do this for 20-25 min!!
