| Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 3 Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I was in really good shape about 4-5 months ago, but was in a really bad car accident. I spent one month in the hospital, and the 3 following months I\'ve not been able to exert myself much while recovering from my injuries. Now that I\'m able to get out again, I find that I can barely run half a mile without wheezing and being completely strained (before I could do 3-4 reliably), my stomach has lost almost all of it\'s definition, and protrudes a bit more than I\'d like it to, and my abs are no longer visible. I seems to have grown noticeable love handles I\'ve put on abut 15 pounds, and whenever I turn at the waist to any large degree I can feel the skin/fat fold/press against itself. I hate it. It\'s hard to go out running because I can barely do any distance, and I don\'t have a running partner (which was a huge motivation for me before. I didn\'t want to run unless I was jogging with my fiancee) anymore because we both moved back to our respective states for college, and only see one another about once every 3-4 months. I have a couple of 10LB dumb bells, again; I used to be able to do a reliable 25 reps with each without so much as blinking an eye... now 10 is a chore. I feel like I\'m slipping, and losing my hold on my physical fitness, and I really don\'t want to... more and more I find myself sitting on the couch with a bag of chips, or a bowl of cereal sitting on the computer. I was thinking of buying a bicycle and riding around town to all of my classes, rather than driving...but I\'ve heard that Cycling doesn\'t help you lose any weight. I would like to lose all of this excess weight, and tone myself before I see my fiancee again in 2 months if it\'s possible. Or at least get into good shape before then. I\'m not asking for bulging muscles or rippling abs, just a toned stomach, arms, legs that don\'t jiggle, and nice chest... I just need to know; 1: How to do it 2: How to motivate myself to do it and 3: CAN I do it in the time frame I have allotted. Oh; I\'m male, 182cm, 68kg. (6ft, 150lbs) @ Arman; I don\'t plan on using any supplements, I\'m not into the whole \'assisted medicine\' thing, and feel like it is a waste of money. I try to eat healthy, but it\'s tough when my roommates keep buying sodas and ice cream. For the most part I\'m doing ok with my diet, but lately I\'ve been slipping a bit more, since I can\'t bring myself to go out and run/exercise. When I\'m sitting at home with nothing to do, I find myself getting hungry, and or thinking of food. another Yahoo! Answers http://www.livehealthyvillage.com/health |

I appreciate they say that pills do not work, but they definitely worked for me, and they have been shown on CBS News too. There is a free trial on currently at http://kolopt.bigslimminglive.info , why not try it, how worse could it make things? Yahoo! Answers http://www.livehealthyvillage.com/health |

Lets starts by doing as much as you can one day, rest a day, and try to do better the third day. To have an idea, try to aim to do 20-50 push ups, 50-600 push ups and cruches withint the two months limit. Motivate yourself by always thinking why are you doing it and how are you doing it for. Have good rock music, not slow music. Yes, you can lose 10lbs in two mounts, fow shoe! I mean, for sur!. Rember, do it every other day, cuz you\'ll be sore. And do walking and running. around 5k a day when you get in shape. Powered By Yahoo! Answers http://www.livehealthyvillage.com/health |

I am 6ft tall and 80kgs. and still look skinny. although I do have a little beer gut, but it doesn\'t hang out. but if you want to look toned, in that short time, you need to do high inensity workouts. It\'s alot more fun and challenging than doing long runs. Do sprints, squat jumps, skipping ropes and a boxing bag. Sort of like a mixed martial arts workout. Look for a gym near you that teaches Muay Thai or MMA. You get to meet people and have fun training with them. if you dont want to join a gym, do bodyweight exercises at home like pistol squats, handstand pushups and pullups. they\'re hard at first, but if you wanna get fit in 2 months, you gotta push yourself. Start slowly, read up articles online. To lose your \'gut\', do uphill sprints, if not, find some space, get a jumping rope and start with 5 one minute rounds then work to 4-minute rounds. If you dont want to get a rope just jump 50 times and try to touch your ceiling. See it doesnt matter what workouts you do because your body doesn\'t count reps, it count\'s your metabolism and heart rate and works itself t adapt to your workout. To motivate yourself, well I dont know how to get you out the couch, because only you can decide when to do it. I always get hyped when I watch movies with guys that are ripped. I\'m not gay but I envy them. Ryan Reynolds from blade trinity, Tom Jane from Punisher, Daniel Craig from Casino Royale and the cast of 300 were my goals and I worked hard to get to where I am. another tip, multivites work wonders. I wish you well, persevere and take each day at a time, two months isnt long and you\'ll find yourself making excuses to not train today. Just do it, and once you start you\'ll feel like you dont want to stop. Try doing 5 push-ups right now and you\'ll see you want to do more to build a chest. once you realise im right, jump right into this workout. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQAh7m4xsMo Best wishes. from Yahoo!
